Welcome to round 12 of Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year
The theme for the twelfth round of the 2023/24 Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year (CJPOTY) competition is ‘Sunrise or Sunset’. At this time of year in the UK the days are short, which makes photographing at sunset and sunrise more appealing. The colours are also often more intense, and the sun doesn’t rise as high as in the summer, which can result in more dramatic images. However, your photographs can be captured anywhere at any time of the year. You also don’t need to stick with landscapes and seascapes; any genre of photography that benefits from the attractive light of dawn or sunset is acceptable.
This round of our monthly competition is open for submissions until 23:59 BST (00:59 CET and 15:59 PST) on 31st December 2023.
You can submit up to three entries for £2.00 plus payment processing costs (£0.26). Images should be JPEGs and at least 1920 pixels along their longest side but no larger than 2MB.
